Meet Chiara

Chiara McCarthy, owner and operator, has been a certified elementary and middle school teacher in Connecticut and San Francisco. In 2010, while living in San Francisco and teaching full time, she received her 200-hour certification at Purusha Yoga. She  began a Yoga Club for her students and saw how quickly they developed their own unique selves, a different, more centered version of the kids she had gotten to know in the classroom. This experience inspired her to pursue training and certification for children from ChildLight Yoga, after which she began her mobile enrichment program called, Kismet Kids. She has brought numerous programs to children of all ages. In 2015 Chiara became a facilitator for The Community Mindfulness Program, a non profit that brings free mindfulness meditation to communities. She is ecstatic to have combined her affinity for education and yoga/mindfulness practices, and is grateful for the opportunity to Kismet Kids with her new community in the Cleveland area.
